Revology Car Showcase at The Hangars by Crownair Aviation

On the morning of June 13, 2025, The Hangars by Crownair Aviation, a premier event venue at Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport in San Diego, California, hosted an exclusive Revology showcase and test-drive event organized by the cars’ manufacturer, out of Orlando, FL. The Hangars by Crownair Aviation Event venue, with its aviation-inspired design and spacious layout, was chosen by Revology as one of three exclusive venues – alongside Veloce Motors – The Vault, and Chris Erickson’s Secret Car Club to highlight their cars in Southern California, somewhat of an honor, and an ideal setting for Revology, a Florida-based manufacturer known for crafting modernized classic Mustangs, to display their vehicles. The event, running from 9:00 AM to early afternoon, drew car enthusiasts and industry professionals for a morning of high-performance vehicles, test drives, and networking, led by Teddy Lawrence, Revology’s Head of Sales, and Pablo Kovacs, West Coast Sales Representative.

Event Overview

The event showcased two Revology vehicles: a 1968 Mustang 2+2 Fastback Cobra Jet and a 1966 Mustang GT Convertible. A select group of VIP guests enjoyed test drives along a route near the airport, facilitated by Teddy Lawrence and Pablo Kovacs. The Hangars’ polished interiors and tarmac views enhanced the experience, while catering from Litl’ Pepper and the delicious coffee, Brew 302 Spitfire Squadron coffee by Mia Noi Trading added a gourmet touch. The event highlighted Revology’s commitment to blending classic Mustang aesthetics with modern engineering.

  • Farkhat, Software Engineer, gave us his impressions “I had a chance to drive the Revology 1968 Mustang GT Convertible, and it was an unforgettable experience. The car looks classic but feels totally modern behind the wheel.  The acceleration was amazing, you can really feel the power, and there’s a lot of it. Braking was super responsive and smooth, and the steering felt light and easy to handle. That V8 engine sound was pure music to any car lover’s ears. It’s just the perfect car to cruise around on a sunny day.”
  • Nick, Attorney who came in his Viper GTS also gave us his impressions ” The revology cars looked great. They did a very good job of integrating the modern components into the vintage character to not detract from the reason why people want to drive old cars. The attention to detail on the gauges and dashboard are fantastic.”

Special Guest: Masato Hakoyama

Masato Hakoyama and Junko from Masajin Ringyoo brought a Shelby-powered 1973 Toyota Celica, a custom build by Masato featuring a 5.8L Shelby V8. Displayed alongside Revology’s Mustangs, it added a unique contrast, though the focus remained on Revology’s craftsmanship.
